Josephine Li
UX UI Designer
Good afternoon!
I’m Josephine, a UI/UX designer drawn to thoughtful, flexible solutions that work within constraints while still leaving room for creativity. I pay attention to patterns, details, and the small signals others might overlook. I follow the rules, but am not afraid to look beyond them.
A mindset I carry from my family: “You can always make a deal.” Good design comes from alignment: balance priorities, navigate trade-offs, and find paths forward together. Design is as much dialogue as it is craft.
Outside of work, I explore new food spots and teas, stay active with hikes and weightlifting, do DIY crafts. Always observing, learning, trying, and refining.
How I approach design
Shaping Solutions though Understanding
Ground decisions in real needs and constraints. Listen, interpret, and shape solutions that are empathetic, practical, and align with time, budget, and context.
Connects Dots into Patterns
Synthesize insights into cohesive systems. Inspired by the Chinese idiom “raise one reflect three” (舉一反三), I focus on identifying relationships and transform them into structured scalable framework.
Intentional over Ornamental
Prioritize thoughtful trade-offs that favor function over decoration. Treating restraint as a virtue, refining every detail to support clarity, usability, and real-world decision making.
Detail-Oriented with Purpose
Craft ideas and balancing clarity with moments of subtle expression to create experiences that are memorable but functional.
